Ian Brooks lives in West Yorkshire but spends much of his time in the Arctic and Antarctic as part of his career, a professor in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science at the University of Leeds.

Still finding time for his other passion, drawing and illustration, Ian was encouraged by a fellow artist to try etching.  A technique that he ‘became mildly obsessed with’.

His delicate prints inspired by the very remote, and beautiful environments he often finds himself within, will be on show in July.
