Anne Desmet RA

Born in Liverpool, Anne Desmet studied at Oxford University's Ruskin School of Art and at London's Central School of Art and Design. She was elected to the Royal Academy in 2011, only the third wood engraver in its entire history, and is a Fellow of both the RE and SWE.

Major collections include the British Library, the British Museum, the V&A, the Fitzwilliam, college collections at both Oxford and Cambridge, Pallant House and the Royal Collection.
