Collection: Colin See-Paynton

Colin See-Paynton lives in Wales and, unusually, is an entirely self-taught wood engraver, noted for the intricacy of his work in this demanding medium, particularly his virtuoso stippling.

Notable collections include the V&A, the National Library of Wales and the Ashmolean Museum. He has exhibited throughout Britain and in China and the USA.

His many awards include elected membership of The Royal Society of Painters, Etchers and Engravers and the Society of Wood Engravers. He has been awarded Fellowships of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and the Royal Cambrian Academy. In 2018 he won the Sir Kyffin Williams Centenary Drawing Prize.
