Oval shaped decorative ceramic pot

The pieces are hand built using a variety of techniques such as slabbing, coiling and carving.  The clay body is a high fired grogged earthenware and then coloured porcelain slips are layered, scumbled on, and scratched into to combine painterly qualities with sculptural form.
